What we do is deceptively simple, but requires considerable attention to detail.
Where necessary, we advise clients in positioning their business strategy. This is done catalytically; as we always make it clear that the client ‘owns’ the business proposal. By providing them with carefully weighted advice and encouragement based on our specialised market experience, they are better able to adapt their business strategy so that it is more appealing to potential investors.
We manage the process from awareness to agreement, from a neutral standpoint, facilitating the communication process between our client and potential investors.
A comprehensive review is carried out to assess your key funding document – the business plan. From your business plan, we produce our own investment documentation in conjunction with you. We also produce periodic client lists, investor briefing summaries, and email newsletters.

If you are an early stage business person
Private investors offer a practical way forward for many early-stage businesses. Such ‘business angels’ are, to put it simply, “business people willing to take business risks”. Their postponement of returns in exchange for capital appreciation helps the businesses in which they invest to develop competitive advantages, access opportunities and maximise growth.
If you are a private investor
Existing and potential private investors may already know the pitfalls of high-risk investment. You can expect our honesty, empathy and respect.
To help both these partners in this value creation process, we have a number of guiding precepts to help us connect private investors to early stage businesses:
We and our investors are seeking people who can - or have the ability to - make a success of a venture.
A viable business needs a proper business plan in order to progress. A business plan is not just a document listing a wish list of objectives, but a planning exercise that involves sufficient complexity to eliminate anomalies. A business plan should identify a solid strategy which lays out a clear path to realistic, achievable goals.
We do not discriminate between types of business but work with each one in a unique way, on a case-by-case basis. All our clients are regarded as unique. We are conscious of their financial needs and constraints and work with them as intensively as possible. In every sense our clients are the future.
We cannot meaningfully place businesses into pre-determined categories, nor can we justifiably make assumptions about what an investor may find attractive, or what may work in the market.
We see situations through the eyes of investors, helping each business make the necessary adjustments to their strategies. We put considerable managerial time and effort into working with our business clients in their search for funding, to enable them to maximise their appeal to investors.
We see investors as vital contributors to the process. They are equal partners with our clients and ourselves. One of our core strengths is the ability to create and sustain a rapport with private investors. We do not attempt to influence their decision - whether or not to invest relies solely on their own judgment. This ensures a stable platform for negotiation and an environment for open discussion.
We are a consultative organisation and differentiate ourselves from competitors by a style that places emphasis on relationships with people rather than just their businesses. We expect our clients to draw on our and our investors’ experience of the investment market. This will help them reach a better understanding of the issues involved and achieve success in their approach to investors.
